A tunnel which the Dormition Church people diged beneath King David's tomb is worrying the Jews which manage King David's tomb.
In 2018, it was discovered that there is a tunnel from the Dormition Church in Mount Zion to a Christian seminary located 600 meters from there on the lowest side of the southern slope of Mount Zion.
Since the tunnel path is beneath King David's tomb, the Jews which responded to this holy site feared it would cause the building to collapse.
The city hall spokesman said that this tunnel has existed for many years, and it's not dangerous. Is this announcement calm the inhabitants of Mount Zion? of course not. We will continue to follow.
